Being two years behind on the blog is not a great situation. New posts/updates forthcoming, but until then, here's a recent Fall photo of our crazy royals!

All about SPORTS!
Let's......play baaaaaaaalllllllllll!!
After beginning the year with lots of hoops and March Madness, the royals turned their attention towards tball. In their first season, even King Tony got in on the action as a co-manager for the kids' team. And, just like in basketball, Abby was the ONLY girl on the team--which to her credit--bothered her not at all. She just keeps up with the boys and that, in turn, is making her stronger and increasingly competitive (not a bad trait in our minds...). So, the Andover White Sox came together for a rousing few weeks of learning how to hit, field, catch, throw, defend and slide. Let's just say, May begin with a big bang! :)
Alec fields a ball--see that glove up to catch?? :) Awesomeness! And check out Coach Dad!!
Coach T shows Abby proper fielding technique
Hanging on the bench....
And when you are called 'on deck' and preparing to hit...you don't take your eye off the ball!

And it's a homerun!!! :)
Easter 2014
Happy Spring!!
An unmistakable trail of jelly beans led us through our next adventure as the Easter Bunny made an appearance, only this year, left a terrible trail of jelly beans throughout our entire house! What a mess!!
Yet, at the end of the jelly trail, the kids found Easter baskets filled with goodies galore...much to the chagrin of Queen Wendy who is really wanting to limit the sugar in their diets!! What led them to the jelly bean trail however was an aggressive egg hunt all over our property. The kids returned from mass and traversed miles of yard to find not only their eggs, but clues for their basket search!
Abby, frustrated, isn't certain where to begin...
Aramis snagged a good find--up in a tree no less!
Alec has no trouble finding the first of many...and enjoyed gloating about it too!
And then, Aramis found something better--a giant pine cone!
That silly bunny hid those eggs so well...and in such mysterious places!!
Even on or inside trash bins!! icky!
Fortunately, brothers and sisters work together on this project...
Happy Easter!!
February - a month to love....
Happy Valentine's Day!
The title of our post is obviously a little bit of a joke poked directly at Mother Nature. This winter season seemed endless and we weren't sure we were ever going to see any signs of Spring. However, February also became a month filled with additional adventures and of course...love! At school, the twin princes took part in a very special Valentine's Day tea. They made cookies for Mom and all the parents were treated to an extra special Valentine's Day Tea complete with entertainment. Their wonderful Kindergarten teachers brought in antique cups for all to use (so cool!) and the kids did a concert which made all the parent's hearts melt. We love our school!!Heart shaped grilled cheese anyone? How about a delicious PINK cupcake for dessert???
When the weather outside remains frightful, we don't stay inside with the fire that is so delightful! Oh noooo! We instead brave the flooded, icy and snow covered elements to visit some of New England's cool adventures such as the Seacoast Science Center!
As the waves of the Atlantic brush against the coastline and flood the landscape, we trudge through with our winter boots just to get a chance to play at the indoor tide pools! :)
Alec learns all about submersibles...
Abby spends time with the sharks...
And before long...everyone was getting a little 'crabby!'
We took some time to practice boat safety....(since summer was on the way!)
Then took a little reading break...since all of this activity is a lot of work!
But...we didn't catch much that we could keep... :(
But, by the end of the day (and month), we were preparing for summer and many more adventures!
