For the last 9 years, we've spent Columbus Day weekend celebrating the life of our little Princess Abigail.
Born with Down syndrome, Abby delivered her parents and family into a completely new community of amazing families and a network of unexpected support that has elevated and inspired us for nearly 10 years now. During Buddy Walk weekend, we celebrate the lives of all individuals with Down syndrome especially our daughter, who serves as an ambassador and current face of possibility. Without her, we would have missed out on so much, but thanks to her, we have so much to look forward to. This year, we again raised more than $1,000 for the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC), the leading support organization in Massachusetts for family's and individuals with Down syndrome.
We're so proud of our All Star Abby!
Abby enjoys time with her brothers and friends, The Gendrons.
The favorite part of her day (aside from seeing her Godparents, of course, is time with her idol, Rachel Coleman of SigningTime and Treeschoolers! Rachel has played such a monumental role in our family's life and Abby adores her!

She's a cover girl at heart...especially when watching Rachel perform on stage...

Abby and her brothers Alec and Aramis. They really are quite a trio--and will forever be marked as "The A Team."

Abby poses with some members of the local posse --Silver Medalist Melissa Reilly (back) and her twin (L) Kaltrina and good friend, M-E (R). All successful and beautiful young ladies!
Thank you Tresca Brothers, who turned one of their cement trucks into rolling advertising year round for the MDSC! :)
Look at me...No, don't look at her...I'll scare you! :)
C'mon mom, you know I'm so gorgeous, right?
Along the walk route/Lake Quannopowitt stand gorgeous homes containing some of the most supportive families around Massachusetts. On Buddy Walk day, walkers can enjoy these homemade signs giving everyone an extra boost! :)
And, without fail, Auntie Abra and Uncle Peter (Abby's Godparents) joined in on the fun. Abby was ecstatic to see her favorite folks and she got to enjoy lots of quality talk-time with her Auntie while circling the lake...
On the bus ride home, everyone was happy....as it is a looooonnnngg walk....
Abby's photo still stands on the 'Wall of Fame" at the Buddy Walk.
Crossing the finish line!! YEAH! Another year in the books...
