A DINO-mite Birthday.....!

This past weekend, the twin princes turned (3) years old. To even realize that three years has passed is somewhat unpalatable as it really does go by quicker than you expect. With the love of close family and friends, the Kingdom moved into high gear for a dinosaur-themed birthday bash (requested by the princes themselves) complete with 'Veggiesaurus Burgers,' 'Dino Dogs,' and 'Lava Flow Liquid' to drink. The princes opened so many presents that they ultimately tired before reaching the half way point--and will soon be sporting some new dance moves thanks to the Dubes, will be reading on their child-sized Kindle (thanks to the Degbor/Silva family), and have already started wearing their Chic Boutique Creation jackets (http://www.chicboutiquecreations.com/), courtesy of Auntie Wendy. We'll open the remainder later...once everyone has rebounded from the excitement. :)

King Tony tosses around the ball with Prince Aramis while the grill heats up.... :)

Cousin Mark oversees the grilling techniques used in the Kingdom.....

King Tony tickles and 'raspberries' Prince Aramis into more than 20 minutes of uncontrollable laughter--the greatest sound in the world! :)
Opening presents...a family affair....of course!

Uncle Regis and Princess Abigail have some time together.....
The twin princes got some very cool flashlights (a la Toy Story III)--thanks Dubes!!! (Alec now sleeping with green dinosaur....) oh no!!
Auntie Laurie and her Godson, Alec 'Monstah'.....smiling for the camera!!
The dinosaur cake with 'live' lava flow that took 3 hours to create. Duff Goldman--eat your heart out! :) Actually, we did use Duff's new line of fondant (available at AC Moore) and it not only works beautifully, but tastes yummy! :) Truth be told, this cake took so many hours since the snout/head fell off 3 times and King Tony came to the rescue with a marshmallow creation so that our dinosaur would ultimately have a neck/head rather than be headless and amid a huge pile of blood and gore which is what it would have been without his expertise. :)
Blowing out the candles....!!!!
King Tony slices up the beast for all to enjoy...yummy. There's nothing quite like homemade cake/icing! :)

What can you expect after a full day of visitors, fun, games, party, party, and more party? Pure exhaustion! Prince Alec literally 'crashes' on the couch....too tired to make it to his bed. Now THAT is proof of a great party!
