The true colors of Fall are quickly arriving here in New England...and the royals refuse to let one moment of this glorious weather fade without completely enjoying every moment. This past weekend, we experienced both 90 degree temps (Saturday) followed by cooler 68 degree temps--which made for two very active outdoor days. The 5th Annual Fluff Festival took center stage on Saturday, followed by a full afternoon of apple picking/pumpkin picking at Parlee Farms in Tyngsboro, Mass. We enjoyed the company of family friends--including Abby's best gal pal, Colleen, and her parents, Paul and Jean. It was an absolutely perfect weekend in all respects--making it hard to start another work week on Monday--and leave all these wonderful moments and memories behind.
Well, at least until next weekend when we're off to another adventure to a castle in the mountains!
Stay tuned!!! :)
Originally created in Massachusetts and still produced here by the the same family that founded it years and years ago, marshmallow FLUFF was spotlighted this weekend at the 5th Annual Fluff Fest. It is a perfect excuse to go into a sugar coma for a few hours--eating everything from the world famous (and occasionally controversial) peanut butter and Fluff sandwiches--to topping beer and hot cocoa with the sweet, white concoction. Worth noting is that two teaspoons of the stuff only carries with it 40 calories and it is both fat and cholesterol free! :)
After a day of manufactured sugar, the royals decided it was time to focus on a 'healthier' activity--apple picking.
King Tony, Prince AVA and Prince AAA on a hayride to the apple orchards....
King Tony with all the munchkins--already chowing on apples and the bag isn't even yet full. Slackers, I tell you!! :)
