Our Summer Bucket List adventures continue...as we need to knock off as many of these as possible. Neither Tony or Wendy wants to hear, "We're bored...there's nothing to do..." so we keep life pretty darn busy....
The kids enjoyed visits to local farms where we picked cherries, blueberries, apples and pumpkins this season. One of our all time favorite spots is the well-run and superbly operated
Parlee Farms. Fruit is delicious, farming practices are sustainable and eco-friendly (no pesticides), and the place is always busy courtesy of a fantastic team of bakers who push out freshly made donuts every season (cherry, cider, blueberry, peach--you name it!). And best of all, you can get them HOT! :)
BBQs /Fire pit with friends was an easy one to check off, so we did so multiple times over with many good friends. Our first of the season was alongside Pastor Rich, his family, and the Keen family. The night was filled with laughter, unexpected stories, and some really yummy meat that Pastor Rich seared right on his pit for all of us to enjoy.

Our family members reside across the US, so we often find ourselves commuting/traveling for visits. This summer saw the last of our trips to Upstate NY as even our NY cousins have opted to move south to avoid the colder Eastern winters. Before they departed however, we jetted up to the leather stocking region to take in some golf (bucket list item...check) and spend some much needed quality time with our cousins...really the best in the world.
